The Insurance Company of the West Indies (ICWI) last Monday, October 26, launched its flagship Road Angel Policy, designed specifically for female drivers.
The over-50-year-old policy was designed by ICWI in Jamaica based on the belief that female motorists deserve special recognition and benefits since all statistical data indicate that they have fewer collisions than their male counterparts.
“This is only the beginning. We are here to stay and the people of Dominica can expect other extremely innovative products which we will introduce for their benefit in the very near future,” ICWI President Paul Lalor said.
According to ICWI, the introduction of the Road Angel Policy to Dominica highlights its commitment to product innovation and excellent service, as well as its commitment to the people of Dominica.
With the policy, clients can enjoy up to 15 per cent discounts on premiums, free accident forgiveness, and free uninsured motorist coverage, among other benefits.
Additionally, ICWI offers loyalty rewards. After five years, Road Angels will benefit from increases in medical benefits of up to 100 per cent, increases in personal effects cover of up to 100 per cent, increases in manslaughter cover of up to 50 per cent and increases in personal accident benefits of up to 50 per cent.
ICWI has been in existence for over 50 years, providing coverage that allows its clients to better protect themselves, their families, and their valuable property.
