Trinidad and Tobago-based Heritage Petroleum recently invited expressions of interest from local and global energy companies to become a joint venture partner in the exploration of that country’s North West District.

“Heritage is aiming to identify and explore opportunities in deeper reservoirs within the company’s onshore North West District area…” the invitation stated in part.

The energy company further revealed that the joint venture partnership ranges from appraising reservoirs to include deep rank explorations.

To this end, Heritage advised that companies and consortia submitting expressions of interest should demonstrate that they have the requisite experience, technical experience, manpower, equipment, and financial resources to fulfil the scope of work. They should also indicate that they “thoroughly” understand the nature and scope of the project, with evidence of previous experience executing similar projects.

Among the capabilities Heritage is looking for are: subsurface (geology, geophysics and petroleum) analysis and well construction, including drilling, completion and related well services.
