Century 21 Real Estate LLC, earlier this month expanded its operation into the Republic of Guyana, which became the 84th country to welcome global franchisor in the residential real estate industry.
According to a release from the global real estate giant, Afa Jamal Zada, a real estate industry and business development specialist, inked an exclusive 25-year franchise deal to expand the Century 21 brand throughout Guyana.
Since becoming the franchisee for CENTURY 21, Zada has focused on recruiting affiliated agents and conducting due diligence on site selection for an office location. In the meantime, she will maximise CENTURY 21’s marketing, agent learning and coaching, technology, and productivity platform to grow the real estate brand in the South American country.
“The entire country of Guyana as well as the northern mainland of South America is growing, and by affiliating with the CENTURY 21 System, I see an amazing opportunity to grow with it,” Zada commented.
“After a long deliberation, I know that I made the right decision to affiliate with Century 21 Real Estate because there isn’t another real estate company that offers you a value proposition for growth that they do,” she added.

The expansion of CENTURY 21 into Guyana builds upon the brand’s year-over-year growth in South America overall. As at July 2020, this real estate franchise increased its offices by to 363 — an 18 per cent increase over the same period a year prior. The number of agents also recorded a significant increase of 25 per cent, moving from 4,188 to 5,218.
“Entrepreneurs worldwide are recognising that our efforts to win by perfecting the real estate experience is a path forward that is relevant and resonates with consumers and industry professionals,” Mike Miedler, president and CEO of Century 21 Real Estate LLC, pointed out.
“Extending the brand’s presence in the Republic of Guyana is an exciting new milestone for our brand. We look forward to Afa Jamal and her team going above and beyond as they deliver 121 per cent to Guyanese homebuyers and sellers,” he stressed.
