Digicel Bermuda has decided to temporarily reduce its retail operation to curbside pickup between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Saturday.
In making the announcement the telecoms company explained that this “precautionary measure has been implemented to ensure employees are able to effectively social distance while safely assisting customers.”
In a statement released to the media, Digicel Bermuda reports that, “the health and safety of Digicel & BTC’s employees and customers is paramount. If you exhibit any flu-like symptoms, or have been around anyone that was or is currently sick, please do not come to the store. Instead please make other arrangements to carry out your intended
Digicel Bermuda Retail Manager Sakinah Brangman stated that, “this will not impact our day-to-day operation. We love our customers and will still be fully equipped to assist them with all of their needs, including bill payments, buying a new smartphone and getting them installed with our fibre home services.”
