NCB Financial Group has appointed Anne McMorris-Cover to the position of head of enterprise operations of National Commercial Bank Jamaica (NCBJ), effective today.
Leaving the office of assistant general manager of group operations at NCBJ, McMorris-Cover will, in her new role, become responsible for the subsidiary’s operations — including enterprise servicing and support — and will lead the company’s Enterprise Operations Transformation. She will report to Howard Gordon, senior general manager of information technology.
In a notice on the Jamaica Stock Exchange website, NCB Financial Group notes, “Anne, who currently serves as assistant general manager of group operations at NCBJ, is well suited for this new role based on the breadth of her training and experience. She has had over 25 years’ experience managing and developing large, diverse teams in the financial services industry, private and public enterprises both locally and internationally.”
According to her LinkedIn profile, McMorris-Cover’s journey with NCB Financial Group began in 2002 after leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers in Washington, DC, in the US, where she was a principal consultant.

An alumna of Campion College in Jamaica, McMorris-Cover graduated from The University of the West Indies, Mona, with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Literature and French. She also holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Management Services from Howard University.
