California, USA-based Andersen Global yesterday took another step to strengthen its growing presence in the Caribbean when it signed a collaboration agreement with St George’s-based tax firm JD Consulting, marking its entry into the Grenadian market.

Up to yesterday, the American tax and legal services firm company only had collaborations with companies in Puerto Rico and Trinidad and Tobago.

“We are rapidly expanding our global platform in the Caribbean and have aligned ourselves with high-quality firms in the region that complement our existing member firms and collaborating firms globally,” Andersen Global Chairman and Andersen CEO Mark Vorsatz said.

The chairman and CEO also had high praises for JD Consulting, its office managing partner, Johnson Dion, and staff members.

“Johnson and his team demonstrate stewardship, transparency and independence when handling client matters and set the standard for tax services in Grenada. The addition of JD Consulting is another key addition as we continue our rapid growth in the region,” he said.

With 19 years of providing full-service tax services, JD Consulting has three partners and more than 10 professionals on staff. Dion and his team provide tax services to private clients, owner-managed businesses and SMEs.

In particular, the Grenadian firm offers an array of services that include corporate tax, personal tax, VAT, tax planning, tax controversies and arbitrations, among other accounting services.

“We pride ourselves on providing our clients with best-in-class solutions that enable them to thrive in today’s competitive business world,” Johnson said.

“Collaborating with Andersen Global will allow us to be a one-stop for our clients and offer them the breadth and quality of a global firm while still providing them with a personal focus and tailored solutions that have been our service delivery signature over the years,” he continued.

Following the formalisation of the agreement with JD Consulting, the American tax and legal services firm today entered a similar arrangement with Suriname-based Kenswil & Co.

Located in the Surinamese capital Paramaribo, Kenswil & Co has a 15-year track record of providing tax and legal services, especially to companies in oil & gas and mining. With founder and Office Managing Director Siegfried Kenswil at the helm, the firm’s clientele includes multinational companies, international and local mid-size companies as well as private clients.

“We are committed to meeting our clients’ needs in the most efficient way, and pride ourselves on providing innovative, best-in-class solutions,” Siegfried commented in a release.

“We look forward to collaborating with Andersen Global as the organisation’s platform will enable us to provide our clients with an integrated approach of tax and legal services in a seamless manner regardless of borders,” he said, in addition.

According to Vorsatz, Andersen Global’s relationship with Kenswil & Co also gives his company a platform to expand in the Caribbean and Latin America.

“Siegfried and his team complement our existing member and collaborating firms regionally and globally, and their industry expertise and passion for stewardship gives us a strong foothold in Suriname,” Vorsatz stated.
